Santa Maria Golf is situated on the edge of a luscious pine forest, just a few minutes outside the town of Marbella on the Costa del Sol. The Santa Maria golf course is a traditionally designed golf course that runs through two valleys and offers a fair but challenging examination of golf.
First opened in 1991 Santa María Golf was previously a 9-hole golf course designed by Antonio García Garrido. After finishing the second nine, designed by it's own technical staff, 5 years later in 1996 the course is now sited in two valleys and is a full 18 hole golf course.
The 19th-century Santa Maria clubhouse, offers a friendly warm atmosphere with many facilities including a restaurant with traditional Spanish dishes, a large terrace over looking the course, and a bar and lounge with a snooker table.
