Designed by Falco Nardi and opened in 1990, the Miraflores Golf Club has undergone a transformation and offers a real challenge to all levels of golfing ability. Each one of the 18 holes offers a different challenge. The course follows the natural contours of the valley and is much flatter than first appearance suggests.
The Miraflores golf course is very pleasant and full of interesting challenges for all golfers, whatever their handicap may be. There are various water hazards so concentration is very important as any mistake, however small, could lead to the loss of the ball. The 570m par-5 twelfth hole is the most difficult hole of all. The lake in the middle of the fairways makes for a tricky second shot. The 520m par-5 sixth and the 480m par-5 fourteenth holes are also worth a mention.
Situated just three kilometres from the N340 and the A7 toll road at Calahonda, Miraflores is situated in the very heart of the Costa del Sol's many golf courses.
Located on Calle Esmeralda on the way to the golf club, Miraflores Driving Range and Golf Academy is a purpose built facility. It provides a clean and friendly environment in which to practice your golfing skills whatever your level of play, from complete beginner to tour pro. There are 22 bays in all.
Spikes Bar is open from 08.00 until late. Breakfast, Snacks and Lunch, together with drinks, are served all day long in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. The "la Mirage" restaurant is open 365 days a year from13:00 - 22:00 to both members and non-members.
