El Chaparral Golf is an 18 hole golf course which sweeps along the undulating coastline of Mijas Costa, 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport.
When the Spanish architect Pepe Gancedo was commissioned, the local golfing fraternity waited with baited breath to see if he could surpass his other design triumphs at Torrequebrada and Golf del Sur… they were certainly not disappointed.
The El Chaparral golf course and the Clubhouse are unique on the Costa del Sol. Almost every hole overlooks the sea and the nature of the terrain, the indigenous vegetation and pine forests ensure that no two holes are alike. Indeed with six par 3´s, six par 4´s and six par 5´s it is a beautiful and challenging course to play.
Beginners will not find a more suitable place to practice and improve their golf and as for the more advanced golfers, El Chaparral golf will provide a constant challenge.
