Based near to Alhaurín el Grande, inland, just past Mijas on the Costa del Sol. The Alhaurín Golf and Equestrian Club was designed by Severiano Ballesteros and once completed will offer one of the most comprehensive golfing experiences on this side of the Atlantic. A thought has even been spared for junior players, who have their own 18 hole course where adults are not allowed unaccompanied. There is also a par three course and good practice facilities on site.
Playing at Alhurin Golf, is however, is less intimidating than it appears and with up to six teeing areas at each hole Alhaurín is adaptable to most standards of golfer.
The Alhaurin Golf Club House is an ideal place. Friendly atmosphere, professional staff and magnificent views both, from the restaurant and from the superb sun bathed grass terrace.The restaurant, La Ventilla, is a typically Andalusian style restaurant with the best traditional dishes.
