Areas we recommend that you visit.

Marbella / Puerto Banus.

If you visit just one place on the Costa del Sol, then it has to be Marbella! This famous town is steeped in history and culture and attracts more visitors than anywhere else on the Costa del Sol. Marbella is a mixture of the old and the new and has a certain aire of quality about it, from the cobbles streets and white washed houses of the old town, to the modern hotels, apartments and resorts.

Marbella is full of interesting things to see and do and it's diversity means there is something to suit most tastes. Dining out is fantastic in Marbella, from quaint little restaurants and bars to some of the best dining experiences in Spain, in Marbella it is not choice you are stuck for, it's choosing! Marbella also boasts some outstanding golf courses all within easy reach, plus plenty of other sporting activities for the more "active" traveller.

Marbella also has some of the best beaches of the Entire Costa del Sol, with fine golden sands and a climate that creates an almost tropical feel. Travel a little further down the Coast and you will discover the famous port of Puerto Banus, a favourite destination for the "rich and famous" and a place you simply, must visit!

Puerto Banus is a port area that moors some of the most exquisite yachts and sea craft in Europe, a frequent destination of the ritch and famous. Puerto Banus is a cosmopolitan area with some of the finest restaurants in Spain, designer stores selling top names and a vibrant nightlife that extends to almost 24 hours in summer months.

Although Puerto Banus caters for the more "wealthy" visitor, you can also find some reasonably prices places to eat, drink and get merry too! If you prefer, there are also pleanty of the big brand name places to eat, such as, TGI Fridays, KFC, Mcdonalds and Burger King, you know the ones! However, if you feel like "splashing out" or a little luxury, then Puerto Banus is one place that can provide it!

Fuengirola / Mijas Costa

Fuengirola and Mijas are close together and share the perfect position, right in the heart of the Golf valley on the Costa del Sol. Fuengirola, is a Costal town that is both a tourist resort and working town, it's High street is brimming over with small shops selling all types of wares and it's famous weekly market is the largest on the Costa del Sol. Fuengirola lies just 20km south west of Malaga airport half way between Malaga city and Marbella.

If you are looking for a more "active" holiday then you will find plenty places from where you can try windsurfing, scuba diving and a wide selection of water sports. Fuengirola also has a zoo, which should keep the kids amused for a few hours, as well as the Mijas water park. Fuengirola is very popular with golfers as it is ideally located for access to a wide selection of outstanding golf courses, on what has become known as, Spain's "Costa del Golf".  Those looking for nightlife, will find there is no shortage of bars, clubs and restaurants to suit every taste and every budget.

Mijas originates from the mountain side village of the same name and Mijas Costa is the coastal region, named after Mijas village, that starts just after Fuengirola and continues down the coast as far as Calahonda. This area has a blend of suberb coastline and pictuesque rural areas and is home to many of the Costa del Sol's best golf courses, including Mijas Golf and Lauro Golf two of the most popular golf courses in the region.

There is plenty of choice in accommodation in the Mijas Costa / Fuengirola area, with a choice of both beach front and more tranquil rural areas. Most of the golf courses in the area have accommodation "on site", or close by and even if you prefer to stay close to the beach the golf courses are only a short drive and easy to find.

Benalmadena.

Benalmadena is much more of a purpose built resort / toursit town and a very popular destination with the "Brit's" and Irish. Benalmadena has some of the best nightlife in the region, in fact it is possible to party 24 hours, if one so wishes! Benalmadena is located just 17 Km from Malaga airport on the Costa del Sol and between Torremolinos and Fuengirola.

One of Benalmadena's main attractions is it's Port area, "puerto Marina" lined with superb bars and shops and the "hub" of nightlife, as all the bars and restaurants "transform" by night into trendy "party bars". If you are after really late nightlife, then why not jump in a taxi and ask for 24 hour Square, a small area of bars and clubs that stay open all night!

For the Kids, Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol, is also an ideal family destination. With great attractions, such as, Sea Life and the Tivoli World amusement park, Benalmadena has something to keep the whole family amused.

The Golfers amongst you will delight in the outstanding golf courses of the Costa del Sol, all within easy reach of Benalmadena. This delightful tourist town is one of the most popular destinations on the Costa del Sol.
